The Reach Lodge is in Brooklin, Maine on the southern shores of the Blue Hill peninsula. We welcome all visitors, whether you arrive by land or by sea.
The Reach Lodge is perched on a knoll overlooking the coastal waters of Downeast Maine with magnificent 180 degree views up and down the renowned sailing lanes of Eggemoggin Reach. You can stroll on our 300 foot dock and watch the many classic sailboats and the Windjammer Fleet sail past. Watch the lobster boats return with their daily catch as the sun is setting over Deer Isle across the water to the south.
We have 21 comfortable, well appointed rooms, all include private baths and most have ocean views. A unique feature of The Reach Lodge is that our boating guests can pick-up one of our 14 moorings.
After a day of kayaking, hiking, boating or just visiting the many art galleries from Blue Hill to Stonington you can relax in our beautiful post and beam Great Room and be warmed by our fieldstone fireplace. Each morning you can enjoy our complimentary continental breakfast while watching the gulls soaring above the water and the harbor seals glistening in the sun.
